NJZ-7 Canary Strong Cut Â
NJZ-7 is the hardest model in Zivkovic series and together with model âNJZ-6 Silver Sharpâ belongs to the harder side if the sound. Zivkovic series has three major groups: for general performance (Nr. 3, 4 and 5) two models for SOFTER area (nr. 1 & 2) and models njz6 & 7 are for energetic, harsh, cut-through the orchestra or percussion ensemble, especially when marimba has a solo part.
NJZ-7 will carry the sound of marimba bars far out, and still have relatively rich fundamental note of each bar. Use this model especially in right hand when you need to come through the big orchestra and to still have some good sound of the marimba and not sounding like bad xylophone. Except for the lowest octave, NJZ-7 will do better than most others âvery hardâ mallets available on the market today.Â
NJZ-7 is available on perfect thicker rattan, or on hand sanded 8.8mm strong cedar shafts. It has best possible projection while still bringing some âbodyâ in high octaves of the marimba.

Combinations:
